Biography
"As Janto brought in more people to help him run and protect his Empire. he brought in a Ridgeback, built like a tank, named Jetkel. He would be the one to oversee the guards and some of the troopers, making sure anyone of the palace had a guard with them at all times, if they went out into the city. Being the head of the guards, Jetkel is the main protector of Janto’s palace. He has his other troopers do routine patrols through the palace, and the grounds, but for the main entrance, he stands guard. He can, and will, protect the palace and his Emperor, with his life.
At first, Erin didn't like him--at first glance, he was all muscle, and little brain. No better than a thug. It wasn't until Janto forced them to talk, that she realized that Jetkel wasn't as thuggish as he looked. Every time they were together, they got closer and closer. ...Until they got closer than Janto could ever imagine.
Erin wasn't used to showing anyone affection, but Jetkel did things to her heart, that she found absolutely wonderful. He was one of the few people that she allowed to touch her, and in such intimate ways, too. It didn't take long for Janto to figure out their relationship, but instead of punishing them, he encouraged it. He was glad that they found something in one another. ...The only catch was that, should they have any children, they were to serve the Empire as troopers or guards. They both agreed. They had each other--their children would be strong, and would thrive in the Empire. They didn't need a parent's coddling. Sacrificing their children to the Empire was a small price to pay for their love..."

Or so it was - The emperor no longer had any need for him, and he had been sold on the Auction block for money to fund the next war. Not even a large sum. In the end, it turned out he was worth no more than the dirty looks given to him by the rebels he was now attempting to live amongst.
The cold here makes him ache and the jobs are scarce, but he is determined to prove himself in the arena. Perhaps if he fights hard enough, he can become a guard for the Queen.
With no duty and no mate, what else is there for him?
