Arcane Magician
You've piqued my interest...
Powerful arcane energies swirled in the clouds as this egg was lain. When the Arcanist tripped and caused the accidental Starfall Celebration of 2014, her egg was caught in a jet of the Arcane energy released by the Arcanist as he fell. The Arcane energies swarmed the egg, gifting the dragon inside with unparalleled Arcane power.
When Isis was born to an ice nest, she showed an intense connection with all things Arcane. Her gift was unparalleled. She could create magic the likes no one had ever seen, and she seemed to radiate Arcane energies. Her arcane energies were so intense, she even attracted a fallout streak, who circled above her as if she was the Observatory, and eventually bonded to her. Her powers also caused a comet to streak down from the heavens and circle her body. The strange celestial body swarmed around her, chirping in an unknown language before it settled down to become a strange living inanimate object which obeyed her every command.
Her parents were afraid of her powers, of her obsession with all things Arcane, and of all the magic she frequently used in everyday tasks. They took her to the Arcanist's Observatory and left here there, urging her to go see him so they could glean where her massive power was coming from. However, Isis held a great fear inside of her. She waited until her parents were not looking and escaped using her magic. She fled for a long time until she came upon Draconequis clan.
Immediately, Tempest recognized her connection to all things Arcane. She was very suspicious of the young Skydancer at first, even to the point of attacking her. Sliver soon calmed Tempest down, allowing the young skydancer to speak her mind. Tempest grudgingly allowed the skydancer to stay, but secretly had dragons watching her closely for signs that she had been sent by the arcanist to impede their progress.
Soon, it was learned that the Arcanist had no idea Isis even existed, and the atmosphere around her changed. Tempest formally welcomed her into the clan, and allowed her full membership. She then began to train the dragon in the art of fighting, teaching her to access the vast Arcane energies deep inside of her and use them to her advantage.
Terrato was one of the dragons Tempest told to watch over Isis when she first joined the clan. In his time watching her, something clicked between the two and they became soulbound. They tried to hide this status from Tempest, but she was too smart for them and figured it out anyways. Her discovery of their soulbinding is partially what lead her to extending a claw to Isis and welcoming her into the clan.
Somewhere along the way, so she could communicate easier with Terrato, she took it upon herself to become a Coatl.
I never wanted any of this.. i guess its too much to ask to be a normal dragon.. but then again.. i dont think one dragon in this clan is normal.. so i guess i fit in then..
