Peisinoe
Entertainer. In a variety of ways. Intuitively knows what people want and need, but sometimes toys with them rather than helping in a straightforward manner. Has an uncanny talent for mimicking the intonations and unconscious movements of others. Respected and feared, as he hoards many secrets. Despite this, he is rarely inclined to let any slip. Unknown to the others, he's Gable's spymaster. Due to the nature of both the clan's residents and research, she deemed it crucial to keep a covert and discrete eye on everyone. Always has size changing potions to slip through cracks and eavesdrop when necessary. |

Cherry lips and smoldering eyes, aureate moons embroidered with tiny stitches. The serpentine ways words slither over his tongue. A whisper of smoke slipping from a candle and the sediment at the bottom of wine. Tragedy and comedy, two sides of the same coin. Laughter in the Dark
Chuckling, he circled the other imperial in the darkness. "You know," he purred, a teasing glint in his eyes, "I'm the closest you'll ever get to him. I may not know why you refuse to court him, but I believe you have no such qualms about me." Betelgeuse stared forward, rigid and unmoving as Peisinoe continued his relaxed circling. "I don't know what you see in him. I've hardly met a more vain and exceedingly taciturn person. He may be a talented alchemist, but hmm, well..." Pausing for a second, he stared rather pointedly at Betel with a crooked smile before finishing his thought, "No wonder he has so few friends; no one really wants to work with him either. Really, you're wasted on him." This elicited the reaction he was looking for. Snarling, Betel gave him very little warning as he grabbed the other's shoulders and pinned him against the wall. "How dare you say that? How dare you disparage him in such a manner?" Smirking, Peisinoe mockingly cried out, "Oh! Oh what will you do, shut my lying mouth forever? What are you planning, oh terrifying one?" Snickering, he teasingly asked, "What, is this how he'd like for you to defend his honour?" For a moment, there was a gleam in Peisinoe's eyes; something... predatory, before he lowered his head and quickly combed through his already impeccable mane. With a low, smooth intonation, one that Betelgeuse could've sworn was Thyone's, he whispered, "Well, why don't you show me just how much you despise me?" After a horrid pause, warped, hideous laughter could be heard echoing from Peisinoe's chambers. |

- He could never seriously mess with Starwind. She's too naive for her own good in some ways, and he could never hurt her like that
- Puts on performances with Starwind regularly
- Absolutely thinks Betelgeuse needs to lighten up
- Knows that Betel's ancient, and has something of a troubled past, but believes that he should get together with Thyone regardless and takes every opportunity to force him to reflect on it
- Has something of a thing for Betel, but understands that the two of them together would be a disaster
- Would like Thyone more if he wasn't so... uptight - still thinks it's cute how he's pretty much adopted that hatchling that wandered into his lab
- Knows better than to mess with Conviction after nearly being drowned in her coffee
- Reports quite regularly to Gable and enjoys messing with her by including completely unnecessary details and segues about what each and every dragon in the lair was up to, including a count of Verity's weekly naps
- Hates entering the aviary when he's shrunk - got pecked at and nearly mangled by some of the birds once
