Ivy

Ivy is quite a playful dragon who loves to fly in circles until she gets so dizzy she falls to the ground. But before she hits she always spins out and upright again, as if it was all part of her plan. Did she make you worry? Then she's done her job.

"Look!" Sandstorm cried, flapping his wings wildly. Ivy took the little dragon in her claws and pat his back like you would a small frightened animal until he calmed down. It didn't seem to faze him at all.
"What is it?" Ivy asked, when the other seemed incapable of speech.
"I've found the perfect pet for you!" he blurted with difficulty. Then he half-flew, half-hopped out of the cave, obviously meaning Ivy to follow him. She rolled her eyes good-naturedly and followed him on foot. Outside the cave sat a creature levitating stones with its mind, watched carefully by a pink-eyed sales dragon who looked bored out of his mind.
"Is this the customer?" he grumbled, looking at Ivy.
"Yes, yes, have some gems now already and show her what it can do!"
The sales dragon sighed as if his job were the most mediocre in the world and snapped his talons at the little creature.
"Watch this!" Sandstorm chattered unnecessarily.
Upon the sound of the snapping, the psywurm did a backflip, stones shooting all around it like a comet in a meteor shower.
"Isn't that cool?" Sandstorm giggled, petting the creature's head. Ivy wasn't crazy about taking care of another creature, but then the psywurm looked her in the eye. Suddenly her mind was blissfully empty, her petty concerns of a mortal being gone. Without knowing why, she picked the creature up and cuddled it.
"You're right, this really is the best pet for me!" Ivy agreed.
The psywurm smiled very slightly.

"Hey," Varis shrugged over to Ivy, admiring her gem-encrusted scales noticeably. Then he looked away quickly.
"Hello," Ivy spun a dizzying circle around the other dragon, just to mess with him. They sneaked looks at each other for a few more long moments, until Varis sighed and spoke.
"Y'know, you're ridiculously pretty. And so am I. We should have a nest together!" he blurted out, then immediately shielded himself with his wings. Ivy wove her long body in tighter circles around him, then settled so she was facing him.
"You're so full of yourself." Ivy's statement wasn't exactly accusatory, in fact it was bordering on compliment oddly enough. She was standing still enough that Varis sneaked another look at her, but Ivy was still wearing her mask, and thus he couldn't tell her expression. Ivy instead gently grabbed Varis' wingtips to pull them away from his face, which he initially resisted.
"Oh um, hi. Must have been sleepwalking again. You know me."
"You're right, though. Our children would be absolutely gorgeous, provided they get my wings instead of yours."
Varis blushed heavily, but you couldn't tell with his deep pink scales. "Sh-shut up! You're just jealous!" but his words were more flustered than confident as Ivy leaned in to smell him suddenly.
"Dear, just because you don't have feathers doesn't mean you don't need to preen."
"Do you want to be mates or not, you deer-headed nit-picker?" Ivy paused, then slowly, she removed her headdress. She wasn't even looking at Varis, but at the ground. Just when he thought he ought to say something else, Ivy abruptly snubbed him in the nose with her nose.
"I do," she murmured, as if the idea embarrassed her. Varis blushed even more, but he didn't care if it showed or not in that moment.
"So... do you wanna cuddle?"
Ivy sighed as if it was against her better nature to answer, but then spoke with undeniable conviction. "More than anything."
