One of the most eager of the stormcatcher's interns, Chrysophylax is keen to put his years of study to use. Assigned to the academy as an electrical engineer to optimise their electricity usage for experiments, he is full of ideas and constantly looking at improving things.

Despite having nothing but the best intentions, his wickedly small attention span and disregard for the academy's personal safety policies often result in explosions or varying sizes. He is usually accompanied by a cloud of smoke, and is well-loved among the younger students.
