Biography
Named after the pink salt crystals her stained tert gives us :3
ALSO SHE MY BDAY DERG SO I SPOILT HER ROTTEN!
Himalaya works in tandem with the Nightshade Duo as the lair’s doctor. She uses medicinal as well as holistic practices she’s learnt from Sobek. She is a bit more wider read than the Pearlcatcher though. Himalaya works with modern medical supplies and biological understanding without resorting to witchcraft like the Duo. She’s an excellent orator for her craft, but finds herself in hot water if she has no one in her small network to rely on for work. This is where Capone comes in. He'll keep her connected...for a fee and her allegiance. She also worked alongside Technetium to give Brea the opportunity to live again.

Himalayan salt is rock salt or halite from the Punjab region of Pakistan. No scientific evidence has been provided to prove that Himalayan salt has substantial benefits compared to common salt, and such claims should be treated as pseudoscience. History The concentration of salt near Khewra, Punjab is said to have been discovered around 326 BC when the troops led by Alexander the Great stopped to rest there and noticed their horses licking the salty rocks. Salt was probably mined there from that time, but the first records of mining are from the Janjua people in the 1200s. |
Mineral composition
Himalayan salt is chemically similar to table salt plus mineral impurities like chromium, iron, zinc, lead, and copper; some salts mined in the Himalayans are not suitable for use as food or industrial use without purification, due to these impurities.
Some salt crystals from the Himalayas have an off-white to transparent color, while impurities in some veins of salt give it a pink, reddish, or beet-red color.
Uses
Granulated himalayan salt is commonly used in cooking, in place of other table salt, and in brine. Numerous claims have been made concerning ingestion of Himalayan salt, but no scientific evidence proves it provides more health benefits compared to common table salt.
Blocks of salt are also used as serving dishes, baking stones, and griddles.
A salt lamp consists of a large salt crystal, often colored, and lit with an electric light or candle inside. Numerous health claims have been made concerning salt lamps, but no scientific evidence supports these claims.
