Biography

dislikes: wishing for things she can ever have stardust - part 2 ( star light, star bright ) part 1 • { part 2 } • part 3 Lacaille had arrived at the clan from a young age, having gotten separated from her family by a violent storm that took the lives of her parents and flung her sisters far from her reach. Since then, each night before she went to bed, Lacaille made a wish.
"star light, star bright..."
One night, just after she had made her wish, something fell from the skies. A brilliant steak of light came down, landing in the forest nearby. She rubbed the tears from her eyes and rushed over to investigate. Perhaps she might find a meteor or some interesting space debris. When Lacaille reached the crater, however, she was shocked to find an unconscious dragon lying in the middle of the scorched earth, a pool of dark blood beginning to pool around their head. She carried them back home so she could tend to his wounds. They were only a small clan at the time, so they had very little resources. Despite the setbacks, she managed to nurse them back to health. She stayed their side until they awoke, and promptly kicked her in the face.
"first star i see tonight..."
They didn't say much for the first few days, simply weeping softly in the blankets that Lacaille provided for them. She always stayed by their side, making sure they were comfortable and safe. Despite her burning questions, she stayed quiet and did her best to comfort them. After a week had passed, the strange dragon stated that his name was Orion and that he was a star. Being a lover of stars and space, Lacaille immediately began to barrage him with questions. He answered her questions quietly, taking time to explain to her the wonders of the universe. He did not answer her question of why he had fallen, however. It was only after many months of getting to know each other did Orion tell her the reason why he fell.
"wish i may, wish i might..."
His words rung in her head. "A wish so great it fell a star." She glanced to the sleeping body next to her. She recalled as he explained to her, that he had been brought down by a wish. Once that wish was granted, only then would he be able to return to his home in the skies. When she heard this, Lacaille went stiff. Deep down she knew. It was her wish. He had been brought down from the heavens by her. Her ungrantable wish, would keep him here forever. She dared not tell him, for she had fallen in love with this strange dragon and feared that he would curse her and push her away when he found out. For over time, they had shared secrets and formed a relationship. By then, Lacaille felt she could not tell him. There was too much to lose. Lacaille remained silent about the matter, guilty.
"i wish you would end my plight."
Then, she met Resonance. A coatl dragon who had worked as a teacher previously, on a search to find a new home. Lacaille and Orion were captivated. Resonance's loving nature immersed the couple, and soon the duo became a trio.
