He is fairly good friends with Prophecy although the two wildclaws are as different as they come. Prophecy letting go of the past as soon as possible and living as life comes and History trying his best to remember and retain everything. He doesn't want to repeat the same mistakes or bad choices he made in the past. He wants to remember the happy times.
