"Songs are for us all..." Nox is a handsome fellow and is blissfully unaware of the effect he has on others. Incredibly easygoing, Nox would prefer to spend his time lounging by water, lost in his own thoughts or practicing his songs with his fellows in their evening temples. He is a phenomenal singer, like many of his kind, and very much enjoys the duty of preforming with the Festival Shiro or singing songs for containing magic. His other duties he does with less joy. He, along with a few others, sing hymns for the lost - familiars, visiting dragons, Kitsune killed in battle, As such, Nox has become very contemplative on life and its preservation. Friendly, if calm and prone to become lost in thought, Nox is happy to oblige requests for songs or simply to converse. Unlike many of his Kitsune breathern, Nox is not prone to playing pranks on others and one can be reasonably assured of safety in his presence. He is a large Kitsune and his size deters some less bold Kitsune. Not like he'd be too annoyed with a prank anyway. Nox would simply shake it off and enjoy a good laugh. It is very difficult to raise him to annoyance or true anger. His background is a common one. Coming from a family of Night Shiro, Nox was trained along with others in the art of the voice. Festival Shiro, Shiro and Tenko also joined these lessons and it was there he met his good friend Saorsihn. They are singing partners, oft requested for duets. Even though she is a Festival Shiro and her voice is beautiful, she can't quite match Nox's inborn penchant for it. She doesn't seem to mind though. Nox, like many young kitsune, was determined to get more powerful in his younger years. He quickly dwarfed his friend, who had no interest in growing more powerful. This was before he was assigned the duty of hymns. Once he saw the effects of battle and grief so clearly, Nox became more subdued and contemplative, understanding Saorsihn's ideas better. Now he enjoys his life, rather than constantly struggling to obtain strength. Nox is no warrior. He is an artist, a friend, a philosopher. He has difficulty causing harm to anything - perhaps his duty of singing for the lost has inspired in him a great respect for life. He even picks his steps carefully to avoid smashing flowers and grasses. Nox would prefer to remain at the temples, enjoying the wild, untamed beauty of Remnant.
