He had been aware. At least, more so than his sister. He knew of her antics- really, he knew of everything she did. His parents had assigned him to look after her as well as run the majority of the fighting side of the lair. He did so, of course. He didn't mind the power but disliked the way the female dragons looked up to him. He'd rather of been a simple-minded usual dragon.

But really, he couldn't have that. He wasn't allowed. His parents wouldn't have it any other way. He was their little child, their best son, their kindest and most sociable son who never spoke or did wrong. But that wasn't true. He could make mistakes. And so when his parents screwed up, he almost felt guilty for them. Simply, he couldn't bring himself to. He knew they deserved it. He disliked their style of leading, not that he would ever say it to them.

It wasn't like he could just rebel against the new leader as soon as he and his sister were exiled, though. He couldn't rise up against a leader with tons of dragons as backing support to the newly named leader of the lair. So, simply, he didn't. He just followed his sister and his father and his mother into exile in silence. There was nothing he could do.

The skin wasn't even the worst part. The worst of it... It was really that he was going to be forgotten. As much as he disliked being in a position of power, he even more so disliked being forgotten and disliked and hated by the many dragons of the lair. And now that they'd moved, the memories of the rebellion by Harmony were slowly fading. He was fading.
