______ Cordia, after a while, was not quite sure why she decided on being Pollux's mate. He was sharp. He was sarcastic. His humor was dry. He constantly wished for things that were simply unavailable to them in their Nature home. She began to despise him. This was a closely guarded secret; nobody could know that she was beginning to hate their leader.

______ And then, one day, Pollux told her that he did not want any more dragonets. She could recall the fury at any time. The argument she caused was certainly a very long and emotional argument. And and the end of it, he banished her. And she couldn't say she was angry with that, because she knew now that others in the lair were angry with Pollux's ruling. It was uncommon that a ruler was completely supported by his or her dragons, but most dragons despised the way Pollux ruled with a tight grip.

______ Being in exile was certainly an interesting experience. Many dragons would simply come to her only to jab and hiss at her. She couldn't say she disliked it, because she knew now that her ex-mate would have to rule alone. And she also knew that there were many dragons who also disliked this ruling style - particularly, they despised it paired with Pollux's ruling style. And so, Cordia simply continued to live in a little structure with vines all around her. Pollux had decreed it so.

______ And one day, Pollux joined her. Cordia couldn't believe what they had done to him. He had a repulsive brownish-green skin on and behind him were her children. Her children! How dare they! She asked many questions that day, and Pollux answered them all miserably. Tritan and Siren were not pleased with being banished with their parents, but there was nothing they could do to change the doings of the lair's new leader.

______ Cordia was shocked to find that they had also treated her children the same way they had her ex-mate. Each had a different skin on, covering what really was them. She hated it. But there was simply nothing she could do - the new ruler, Harmony, decreed it so. And there was no way to change it. Despite the family sitting in exile, they continued to live as normal. Foraging, play-fighting, organizing, and even starting a little hoard of their own.

______ Sure, dragons would come to hiss and jab at them, but they lived fine... right up until Harmony declared that they would be moving to Earth. What?Cordia couldn't believe it. Why? She thought that dragons liked it here, here with the trees and the vines and the green and the color and the leaves... As they moved, Cordia brought all of the trees and vines and leaves and all of the colorful things she could. She tried to recreate what it was like before, before they moved to the barren, earthen landscape, but she knew that she would be stuck here - forever.
