Biography
Younger brother to Abysstongue, and second son to the Cinderwood's loveliest pair, Abyssal Song towers over all his family. Some strange mystery within the ancient, burning wood saw a ridgeback hatch from the cosseted egg. Even as an infant he cast a colossal shadow.
But he is the sweetest of the family, they all agree. More preoccupied with the odd songs he writes than anything else, he doesn't like trouble. He adores his older brother and he enjoys Banana Wise and Green Seas' steady affections. If his parents weren't so fixated on one another, they might have spoiled him rotten. As it is, they've only made him gentle and loving.
He hears peculiar things in the woods. Hums and whispers, tunes and whistles. He sings his own songs to the trees. Perhaps one day the woods will sing his song back to him.
