Death does wear blue

"I am the destroyer"

Faint memories cause him to seek unspecified "revenge". His arrival is announced by his familiar, Eye-crow.
Screams death as he flies.

BigRig was twistering through the sky as he usually did. An unpredictable flight pattern was essential to fighting other dragons, so he did it all the time just for practice. The flock of birds that usually followed him into battle was not present, because he was going somewhere where he didn’t fight. He didn’t feel a part of the tiny nature flight he called home, but he tolerated them because they would deal with any trouble he got into. So he had a mate in a nearby area of plague where he felt a bit more comfortable. He was going to visit her now actually, their eggs were going to hatch soon.
He landed on a sort of pointy rock formation that hid a small cave and waited for a white pearlcatcher to appear. She didn’t though, which hadn’t happened before. So he tried to fit into the cave to see if she had just left for a while. He could only fit half his body inside, but he could see the nest.
The eggs were gone and the white dragon was nowhere in sight. He roared in anger and sadness into the tiny cave. What had happened? Had his mate taken the hatchlings and left? But when the roar died away, he still had no answers. Until he heard what sounded like... a small roar in response. He looked closely where the sound had come from. How had he missed it? A small white and purple hatchling was looking up at him. An imperial. A tiny, fearless imperial, the spitting image of himself.
This baby needed someone to take care of it. BigRig didn’t know how to take care of a baby. Then he remembered the tiny nature flight. His flight. He picked up the tiny, squirming hatchling in his mouth, trying his best to be careful, and took off toward nature territory.
Mari was shocked to see BigRig returning so quickly, not covered in scratches, and carrying a baby.
“Um, is it yours?” She asked.
“Yes, put it with the other ones.” He replied, pushing the hatchling toward her with his nose.
“This is your son?”
“My.... yes he is.”
“Does he have a name?” Mari lifted the hatchling to look at him.
“Um. Uh, ****-“
“That is not an appropriate name for a baby”
BigRig growled in annoyance, which was met with a smaller growl from the baby.
“Woah we got a little storm cloud here!”

Since that day, BigRig hasn’t gone on anymore rampages, and hasn’t fought except to protect the clan. He watched his son (dubbed ExcitingNimbus) grow up, and when he showed a similar interest in battle, he pushed him towards the world of coli. ExcitingNimbus is now the strongest warrior in the clan, and BigRig is very proud of him.
