If you cling to your life, stay as far away as possible from DHMO. They are a dangerous dragon, very dangerous indeed.

DHMO is a colourless, odorless, and tasteless (...what?) dragon who already killed millions of dragons and will continue to do so for as long as they exist.

The biggest danger is inhaling them. Do not do it. Do not even try to do it to prove that "DHMO is totally harmless, trust me!" Your attempt will almost certainly fail and you will die from your own stupidity. You have been warned.

DHMO causes severe tissue damage if exposed to their solid form for too long. Which raises the question of what exactly they would look like in a non-solid form. A question only time will answer, I guess.

Do not ingest DHMO. I do not know what that would look like, but do not ingest them. Side effects of DHMO ingestions include excessive sweating and urination, possibly a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting, and body electrolyte imbalance.
If, however, you do manage to ingest them, you may become dependent. Withdrawal of DHMO then means certain death.

DHMO is also known as Hydroxl Acid.

DHMO is the major component of acid rain, howsoever they manage to do that.

DHMO contributes to the so-called "greenhouse effect". Wait, does such a thing even exist on Sornieth?

DHMO may cause severe burns. Better stay away from them.

DHMO contributes to the erosion of Sornieth's natural landscape. Better lock them away forever.

DHMO accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals. For Mather's sake, keep them away from any and all ore veins and smelters and forges, damn it! They are the bane of all metallurgists and blacksmiths.

DHMO may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes. Keep them far away from the Shifting Expanse and your local electricians. But what even is an "automobile"?

DHMO has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients. No one knows how they got into other dragons' bodies but as far as we see it, they are a Walking Death. Keep your hatchlings away from them.

DHMO has already contaminated every stream, lake, reservoir, sea, and ocean on Sornieth. Do not ask how they managed to travel to every single corner of this world. It is a mystery.

DHMO has also been found in the ice of the Southern Icefield. Nowhere is safe.

Despite their dangers, DHMO also has their useful sides.

DHMO can be an industrial solvent and coolant. Your local scientists are quite happy about this fact.

DHMO can be used in nuclear power plants, though please make sure to always keep an eye on them. You never know what they are up to.

DHMO is used in the production of styrofoam. ...Wait a second. There is styrofoam in Sornieth?!

DHMO is a fire retardant. Ironic for a Fire flight dragon, is it not?

DHMO is used in many forms of cruel familiar research. Poor familiars.

DHMO is used in the distribution of pesticides. Even after washing, produce remains contaminated by this dragon. Useful? Yes. Safe? ...Maybe not.

DHMO is an additive in certain “junk-foods” and other food products. Wait, what does dragon junk-food look like? What does it taste like?

Exalting DHMO to the service of the Plaguebringer will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
