Elvera

The world wasn't a kind place to Elvera, she was kicked out of her birth clan at a very young age because the clan couldn't feed everyone and saw it as something evil to allow a young hatchling shifter to be exalted. Elvera was an orphan on the streets of large cities most of her life. Sometimes a kind soul would allow her to come with to the next city in order for Elvera to move around and hopefully, find a permanent residence. In one of the clan cities that up-took residency in the ruins within the tangled wood is where Elvera saw a couple of beautiful shifters trying to hand out flyers to those passing by. Elvera was so mesmerized by their beauty one of them caught her staring.

Elvera quickly looked away but it was already too late, the shifter walked over to where Elvera was sitting, in the dirt on the disgusting street. The shifter knelt down to Elvera's level and reached her hand out as if she was asking for something.

"My name is Zeah and I am from clan Lusus Naturae, we accept all who need a place to call home and don't feel like they fit quite right in this world." Zeah explained. Elvera's eyes began to water and she took Zeah's hand.

Life back in Lusus Naturae wasn't what the young skydancer expected but she very much was happy to be someplace safe and warm. Lusus Naturae was set up in a big open space surrounded by forest, there was candles and light everywhere with large violet and gold tents set up in the middle, black an gold tents scattered around it. Lusus Naturae was filled with entertainers, magicians, necromancers, and merchants. It was a place to celebrate the oddities in life. Zeah took Elvera to go see the clan leader, Seraphim, who at in large tent with a female guardian and female pearlcatcher shifter by her side. A male imperial shifter was in the middle and Seraphim didn't have a happy look on her face. Zeah cleared her throat and the crowd of people in the tent parted out of her way. Elvera was then gently pushed in front of the imperial while Seraphim took her time to watch Elvera.

Elvera kept tapping her foot and playing with the rags she calls clothes. Seraphim then nodded at Zeah and then nodded at Elvera. Seraphim pointed at a female imperial watching in the crowd who had a very confused look on her face.

"What is your name little one?" Seraphim cooed in a sickly sweet voice.

"El...Elvera m'am." The little skydancer said nervously.

"Elvera from this day forward you will be a necromancer and be trained by Lazaro, one of our top ones. She will guide you. Welcome to clan Lusus Naturae I hope you enjoy your stay and learn to call this place home like the rest of us. Now please, go now both of you I have a more urgent... matter to attend to." Seraphim's smile turned into a scowl as she looked back at the imperial.
