Biography
Due to his mostly dull plumage, this little coatl was seen as a bad omen from their original clan, and thus was cast off. Off to find a new clan that would accept him for both the dull coloration and his mixed plumage that resembled something toxic, Inamoenus strived to be something more than his name, something more than the something unlovable and unable to bring joy, something more, something to be loved unconditionally by someone...
To this day he searches—hoping for love, hoping for happiness, hoping to just be more, more, more than a nothing, he wants love, wants his happiness, wants someone to appreciate him for who he is and hopefully cherish it. Is that too much to ask for?

overcast skies tend to dull the sunrise,
the same way that thorns deter the admiration of a rose,
but that doesn’t mean the beauty isn’t still there.
the prettiest amulets, the brightest treasures,
are usually the ones hiding curses and poisons and death.
the dustiest books tend to hold the best knowledge,
the way that favorite books always have
cracked spines and bent pages from being loved
too fiercely, too much.
after all, red skies in mornings are the most beautiful
kind of storm warning, whereas winter greys
are just an indication of consistency
in the most relieving of ways,
and brand new books never sit in your hand
quiet the right way.
the words inside that paper ribcage are more important than
the pictures displayed on the cover, anyway.

Inamoenus is a heavy sleeper. In his dreams he flight above Sornieth and joyfully gets acquainted with randomly encountered dragons. In fact, he is a homebody and feels best in the family without leaving the clan.
