Nepres is many things, but the Tundra is not one for conversation. Though he isn't actively malicious, he dresses himself in assassin's attire in order to keep other dragons far, far away from him. He doesn't have patience for constant badgering about his heritage - his blood is diluted enough that he doesn't feel too much of a connection to Naomi, the Queen of the Exalted...but reminders of his heritage are everywhere. He and his siblings were bred for clans who wanted to grab a dragon with possible traces of Naomi's power, and he loathes that fact.

Secretly, yes, there are many things he wishes to know about his ancestors. Willow lives emaciated in the back of a cave, quiet and out of sight, and...no one knows where Naomi is. But he wishes to investigate to learn about himself rather than because of the intrigue. He's fascinated by all things morbid. Nepres' role within the clan is fodder selection and purchase, despite his views on the exalt trade. He does extensive research about flight dominance and strategy, and has been recruited by the Guard to help with analytics.
