Tachyon is not a dragon who has much to say. Preferring to believe that actions speak louder than words, they are one of the more industrious coatls in the clan, helping with lair renovations and other handiwork around the dens. While they suffer a curse, its one of the milder ones in the clan, and they pay it no mind, swatting the ghostly hands away from their labors like flies. Their work doubles upon arrival to the site Hemlock has declared their new home. As they work tirelessly to turn the cliffside into a livable den, their curse only grows in strength.

They've been in a long and loving marriage with Kestrel, and the two of them are some of the older dragons in the clan. Believing firmly in their friends, they choose to think that their unease around the Portal is mere magical interference. When their daughter chooses to rebel against the clan's leadership and stay behind, Tachyon doesn't know what to make of it. Deeply saddened, they spend more time with their granddaughter to make up for it. But it is not long until she leaves the lair, never to be seen again.
