Jalaadhi is a overall benevolent (well meaning and kindly) dragon, although he does have pride in himself and what he does, stubbornness, and a fearsome temper. He has matured quite a bit from when he was younger, not really having a control over his flaring anger, making him much more reasonable when need be. He loves and cares for his young and watches over them within the Clan and outside of the Clan if they wish to leave. He actively gives them advice, aiding them indirectly. He has a more caring and soft relationship towards his batches, unlike with their mothers he tolerates them with a grace that almost seems romantic.

He has a very particular sense of humor, sometimes making it hard to tell if he is joking or not. Jalaadhi finds this amusing, being a hunter he does not exactly converse a lot with the Defenders. But once he does, it is quite fascinating as some of them struggle to figure out just exactly what he means or jokes about.
