Biography
𝕳𝖎𝖌𝖍 𝕸𝖆𝖌𝖊
(High Mage)
Retired professor of the arcane arts, Dolasir moved in to the Arcanist’s spires to capitalize on the space and silence of a personal lair. On a good day, they’re usually amicable enough, though very unwilling to entertain large or noisily crowds. If one asks nicely, they may agree to help with any arcane trouble one could have. After all, Dolasir does have a heart; I mean, their beloved bird companion recognizes it.
Oddly, they won’t specify what kinds of arcane matters they specialized in, nor will they divulge exactly how broad their expertise is. No one knows how their gembound wings came to spark and glimmer with a great storm. If they catch the wizard at a private hour, one may also witness them, bent over documents, rambling (to themselves?) about some notion of a “multiverse” with a “fourth wall” that can’t be broken, or some contraption called a “flux capacitor” that needs electricity from the Stormcatcher. After that, one is liable to meet a particularly grouchy and unwelcoming dragon upon being noticed. Some see them as a genius of their time; others see them as an eccentric elder losing their touch. In tall tales told as warnings to deter curious hatchlings from landing themselves into a scolding via trespassing, Dolasir appears as an enigmatic Greek God, an Athena with Zeus’ temper, or an intelligent but reclusive wizard from a dangerous land called Oz.
