Bristlecone is a towering creature as much tree as dragon who has lived at the southernmost edge of the Tangled Woods as long as anyone can remember. She has gone by many names over the decades; if you catch her in an acquiescent mood she may even tell tales of her earlier lives. When she moves, she does so slowly, so as not to disturb the animals nesting in her branchlike wings or the twisted knots of her scales. The other dragons of the clan revere her as a wise forest spirit, but she insists she is no such thing - she is, at least so she claims, merely old. |
