Biography
Tlazol - The outsider
___________________________
Tlazol's parents were wandering pilgrims who made the mistake of settling briefly in the Abiding Boneyard to tend a clutch. As neither of them were Plague-born, they were ignorant of the effects the virulent lands would have on their hatchlings.
Two of their clutch were born perfect, save for the rheumy red of their eyes, but when the third burst from his egg, shaking fluid from his pale grey wings and dark red down-coat, his parents were horrified. They saw the hatchling as a bad omen, a blight on their pilgrimage, possibly even a threat to their survival. They would have left him to the Plaguebringer's mercy if Vorcha hadn't come across them during one of her border patrols and offered to take the hatchling off their hands.
Of course, Vorcha had an ulterior motive in bringing the young coatl into the clan. Sion had always been adamant about not taking in coatls, as they were impossible for him and the clan's other faes to communicate with properly. Vorcha, still riled from the underhanded tactics Sion had used to save Mithril from exaltation, could think of no better way to get back at her co-founder.
Tlazol himself hasn't been benefitting much from Vorcha's actions. He was spared a painful death in the wasteland, yes, but he is now part of a clan where he often has to struggle to understand his age-mates, and to be understood in return. As a result he is often withdrawn, and doesn't see much of a point in speaking.
