Osprey

Give Metallic, Toxin? Smirch? Python, Morph? Starmap? Laced, Edged? Slime? Swirl? Pharaoh?

Osprey heard sounds of footsteps rushing around the clearing, and his ears perked up, and he lifted his head up in curiosity.

"What was that?" The young pearlcatcher wondered, and decided to get up from his bedding that he tried to sleep in.

"Nothing, go back to sleep." Moonseeker grumbled, and rolled over.

"Moonseeker, I wanna know what they're doing! I don't wanna go back to sleep!" Osprey complained and then flew out of the clearing with his then-memory-less pearl.

He was immediately trampled by thousands of dragons, and none of them noticed that they bumped into him.

He made his way to the Clan leader, Starblazer, and looked at him.

"What's going on?" He asked the tundra out of curiosity, and Starblazer looked at him.

"The Beastclans are what's going on... I sent a battle patrol to attack them, but I don't know how they'll feel coming back, and I don't know if they need herbs, and if they do, I don't even know the right herbs." Starblazer sighed and looked at the tunnel that lead into the hunting grounds.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" Osprey's eye's sparkled in excitement.

"No.. i'm afraid not.. But I do have something for you.." The tundra said and handed him a container of something that was labeled 'Bubble Grubble'.

"What's this?" Osprey glanced at the strangely colored container, and then glanced at his leader.

"Just a little thing that Skychaser picked out for you.. Now go back to the dragon-to-be den!" He smiled and pointed at the den.

"Fine, and thank you!" Osprey smiled back and walked back to the den.
PRESENT
Osprey was walking around the hunting grounds, searching around for crunchy insects, and he accidentally stepped on something hard.

"Ouch! Who in the world put that there?" He howled in pain and looked down at what he stepped on.

He scraped up the soil that was clinging onto the hard-feeling thing, and he looked down at the ground.

"Bubble Grubble? What in the world?" He say and instantly his pearl that he left over next to him began sparkling, and Osprey looked at his pearl, and instantly had a flashback.

His eye sparkled in amazement and he looked back at the 'Bubble Grubble' container, and tried to kick it open with his feet.
Nothing.
He kicked it again with his feet, and suddenly, a strange material shot up from the container, and Osprey braced himself and closed his eyes.

He opened his eyes up again and saw a purple, slimy, and sticky material coated onto his fur.

"Darn it! And it's on my fur too..." He sighed and walked over to a river of water, and then jumped into it, causing splashes of water flying up in the air.

He flew back to the surface and then shook his fur, and then grabbed his pearl, and flew back to camp.

"What ever happened to you? A somewhat-elderly sort of voice said, and Osprey flew back down onto the ground and saw Starblazer glaring at him.

"Oh, uh.. heh.. Kinda hard to explain.." He felt his head go hot in embarrassment. and slowly started backing up into the warrior-dragon den.

"Actually, I know what it is, it's that Bubble Grubble stuff that I gave to you years ago!" Starblazer said and chuckled.

"O-oh, it is? Heh, never knew. BYE!" Osprey said in embarrassment and quickly flew into the den.
