Locan
Hunter "Dear prey-You won't find me unless I'm there killing you" Locan is a rather introverted dragon, keeping to himself, not letting anything out. He normally stays away from the others, and is more often awake at night, asleep at day, which suits his antisocial behaviour. He has seemed to make friends with the other shadow dragon in my lair- Edouard, but other than that, he is not particularly close to any dragon. However, despite this, nobody has failed to notice his extreme skills in hunting, especially ambushes. 'He may not be the strongest, but is the best at sneak attacks, silently stealing prey like a snake.' Ash comments. Where did he learn this? Well, he didn’t: '‘twas natural talent. He was expected tae be a rite ol warrior in his large, shadowy family, and he had to disappoint them, when he was born as a small, skinny spiral. However he was a silent and focused boy, and on his first hunting trip, his teachers were amazed to find the little dragon was exceptionally speedy, silent and slick, making easy work of hunting. He was valued for this; what he lacked in strength he had gained in intelligence, and that was good enough for his Troupe. Well, until they found themselves having to give away one of their members for a 'skills trade.' Before he was even told, Locan knew who was going to get chosen. Now, he grew up as a nocturnal beast, so it was weird trying to adopt to the ways of his new, not-nocturnal clan. In the end, he gave up, and just became friends with the only other shadow dragon then. He never settled in to be honest, and was shocked when he found out they were going to exalt him until they realised his talent at hunting. Due to this, and to his former clan, he found himself scared to trust others. But hopefully, some day, he'll be ready to slither out of his shell some more. |
