Biography

"Now, isn't that fascinating? I believe this warrants further research in this phenomenon!"

Name: Shui
Pronouns: he/him
Mate: none
Personality: eccentric, curious, resourceful, stubborn, polite
Occupation: healer; Epidemiologist, specializing in Emperors
Adopted daughter: Honeypie

Shui came to this clan at a very young age. He was the first plague dragon in this clan in the Gladeveins, but if there was any bad blood among them, it was swallowed down in moments. He was allowed to embrace his home flight and their traditions while in the clan.

Thankfully, this was the right choice.

As he grew older, he became more fascinated with disease. He wanted to understand the "why" and "how" of it all. Thanks to his lineage and home, he saw it from each possible extreme perspective. However, thanks to his home, he became determined to fight disease rather than spread it.

He was particularly attracted to a certain problem, a blight on the territory of the light flight: Luminax. It's Shui's theory that the cause of Emperor dragons is a type of magical disease that festers post mortem, and must have an effect on the dragon's mental state, their growth hormones... And other similar things.

He's well aware Luminax is far too dangerous to observe personally, so he instead happily takes donations from dragons who have dealt with them personally, or even the occasional generous imperial who offers things such as blood donations, or even scales that chipped from the body during combat.

Shui is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his specialty. However, he knows the basics of healing other illnesses, and often helps tend to Zubaida on some of her less powerful days, expecting no payment from her except longer time to borrow books on the matter.
