Kargyzgzy was the brother of Queen Reyftzhehendren, defeated in the battle for ascension to the Frore throne. Through an underhanded spell cast from dark, ancient magic, he was killed, and his soul banished to a dimension his sister created to be his prison- an infinite land of misty expanses and mirrors, where he is sentenced of an eternity of hopeless wandering. However, through holes worn in the spell, he has managed to establish contact to living dragons in his court, who he manipulates to do his bidding for an exchange of empty promises of power. His cursing of Queen Vespers was a warning strike- an ominous and deadly announcement of his presence. As he continues to gain strength, the demise of Queen Reyft seems to become increasingly more imminent.

The Banished One

Day and night, he wanders. At least, he assumes he does. There’s no way to tell when day is and when night is here. Time is an illusion, just as flimsy as the mist that surrounds him. Instead of counting the time by days, he tends to count them based on the spirits who come and go. Those who have been banished here along with him. One moment in time is calculated based off of who is there when he wakes up, and who isn’t. The older ones go first, of course. The younger ones take longer. And it takes longer for them to lose hope, too.
Yes, Karg and Ryft share the same blood, and live many lives apart, but there is one thing other than blood that they share: hopelessness. Their white-blue eyes that once shone with hope now simmer with despair. And they are both drowning in it.

And the nebulas

The matter between.

There are the desolate confines,
The realm of the forgotten,
The realm
Of the wanderers
Whose compasses
Are beyond orientation,
The lost.
An astral plane
Of a fermata held silence,
And the essence
Of the silver void.
This is the abyssthe
Of the hopeless
Of those
Who rise
To silver mists
And mornings
Awakened
By a need
A search,
That will nevertheless
End in the astral lands
Beyond the tendrils
Of leviathan grasp.
It is the infinite,
It is the point
Of final
Woebegone disappearance.
They say
That the mirror realm
Is the final gate,
That in its very depths,
There are those who seek their solace,
Subdued in silence,
Spirits wandering
As they disambiguate
The path to solitude
That is sought.
