______ Ever since she was a little hatchling, she knew what she wanted to be. She was always outside in the forest, prancing around in the meadows and flowers and with dirt underneath her claws. Admittedly, she caused her parents a lot of distress because she would sneak out so often. However, she was so sweet nobody could ever stay mad at her, no matter how hard they tried. Her intense love for nature drove her to become a florist, even though her parents, the clan leaders, appointed her as their heir. Wildlife flocks to her, mostly because of the gentle, soft, and loving aura she practically radiates. Her Alstroemeria Fox, named Flora, dutifully follows her around, silently protecting her. Often, you'll see her humming happily arranging potted plants, typically with a few birds trailing her.

Maiden's Blush or a few Spathiphyllums? Leilani thought to herself, stroking a little Sweetpuff that had landed on her shoulder. "Leilani!" She was jerked out of her thoughts at the sudden call. "Yes?" She replied, gently setting the Sweetpuff down to go find the source of the sound. Her mother poked her head into her room. "We have a new arrival, would you mind showing her around and getting her comfortable? I'm rather busy at the moment." Her mother was obviously stressed, with baggy eyes and a headache. She really needs a vacation, Leilani thought absent-mindedly. "Oh yes, of course! Where is she?" She replied excitedly. "In the dining hall. I'll talk to you both later." Her mother quickly disappeared from sight.
Well, alright then. Leilani curiously flew into the dining hall, eager to meet the newest addition to the ever-growing clan. In the center of the room, a Skydancer adorned with silks and gold stood there, clearly wary and uncomfortable. Royalty, perhaps? She certainly looks like it, She thought, even more intrigued. "Hello! Welcome to the Astrum clan. My name is Leilani, and I'll show you around today. May I ask what yours is?" She introduced herself politely. The other Skydancer visibly appraised her cautiously before curtly answering, "Ignia." Leilani nodded, not put off by Ignia's cold greeting. "That's a nice name. I'd love for us to be friends so I can get to know you better. I'm sure you'll love it here." She offered a warm smile, doing her best to look hospitable and cordial. Ignia seemed to relax a tiny - almost imperceptible - bit, and replied, "Perhaps."

After meeting Ignia, she made numerous attempts to bond with the withdrawn dragon and break her out of her shell. For months, Ignia parried them but finally cracked. They first became friends, and then best friends. Ignia talked about her past, and revealed how she had a secret ability she rarely ever spoke of. Because she was a Fire dragon, she was born with the ability to breathe and form large fireballs that she could hurl or aim at opponents. Her parents, both being non-Fire dragons, weren't particularly fond of their daughter's tendency to destroy and char everything and sent her away with the first chance they got. Leilani comforted her, and they got even closer. Because Leilani was the first one to console and care about her, Ignia found herself falling in love with her. For a while, Ignia said nothing as she was afraid she'd lose her only friend. Finally she decided to confess and luckily, they both felt the same way. Though they are polar opposites, they found happiness with each other.
