Haughty + Vain + Surprisingly Good
Some would claim that Tanyl was jealous of his brothers, when really there was nothing to be jealous of. Despite this, he strove to become better than all of them. He pushed his physical and mental limits, to make sure he'd become the best scryer there was. Very competitive, Tanyl will do what he will to make sure he comes out on top in the scryer community. Because of all this, he's developed quite the complex. He's very proud of his skills, and makes sure everyone knows. Despite his attitude, he's surprisingly very good at what he does. His powers are stronger during storms, thanks to his Lightning blood. However, his powers do come at a cost. When he scries, he builds up electrical energy, often storing so much of it, that he has to release it, before he can scry again. If he builds up too much, he cannot scry without pain. When he becomes 'full' it's best to avoid him--those bolts of lightning he shoots out can carry a deadly charge.
