Minji hails from a clan within the Shadow domain, making her an unusual addition to the brightly-lit corridors of the monastery. Though, this doesn't make her any less amicable or proficient. Curiously enough, she did not come to the monastery out of fear for her life or similar, as most members have; she came willingly with a desire to assist in the efforts of serving the Lightweaver. Perhaps it was a desire to spread her wings and no longer be shadowed by her two elder sisters, Nebat and Nisha. Despite their unwavering love for her, she wished to pursue a life of her own. She frequently sends them gifts and various packages, and it is not uncommon to see her receive them in return.

With her wind origins, she remains flightly and perhaps too excitable for cloistered living. Her craft is also peculiar for these origins, as the act of candle-making is delicate and requires a great deal of patience; even more-so considering her life within the Shadow domain as a member of a notorious vineyard. Little illumination was welcome, but she seemed to crave and welcome it, hence her art.

Despite attempts to be humble, it is not uncommon to see her adorned in small jewelry and bones of various animals, even silks if the event warrants it. They all appear to be gifts from her sisters back home, and despite her taken vow of poverty, she refuses to forget her origins or scorn her biological family. Though, she's still happy for the life and new family she has been welcomed into, and is grateful to contribute to their efforts.
