  Like many Wind clans the Windshear Caravan is in possession of a great windchime which represents each member of the clan. As members come and go chimes are added and wrapped to change their pitch. Current members have unwrapped chimes which creates a bright note while past members have wrapped pipes and they create a much duller sound. Pipes are sometimes changed as a dragon grows to better reflect their temperments or importance of the dragon in the clan. Very important dragons might have a small array of chimes that create a sort of chord arrangement.

  Lark is the keeper of the vast clan wind chime. She knows each chime by name and sound and ensures that each dragon who may potentially stay with the clan has a chime. She works with the Caravan smiths to make each one and is very particular about what each one sounds like as at least two are always made. One to be hung on the chime, and the other for the dragon to keep. Children who are going directly to the Windsinger/Flamecaller or to another clan are considered temporary residents and so do not get one. She is also in charge of wrapping the chimes of residents who have left the clan.

  Lark takes her job very seriously and she is a rather serious girl herself. She keeps a collection of books in her rooms at all times with lists and lists of names and notes of each chime and clan member as well as their stories that are written by Sparrow.
