BIOGRAPHY
Are dragons born wicked? Or do they have wickedness thrust upon them? Truly, Zulekha was born a monster. The eldest sister amongst equally horrible siblings in a clutch of four, from birth, she was the boss. She had never been sure of eating meat, though she watched her siblings chow down eagerly on whatever her parents fed them. She preferred blood, though she picked up the habit of chewing and spitting out meat she was offered. Still, she was not good enough for her horrible parents. Her mother on several occasions threatened to feed her to her siblings, or to roving Mirror packs. Zelekha knew that, for whatever reason, her mother had decided she was not worth her time. Her father, however, was kinder. If kinder can mean dropping her at the feet of a cult leader. Rache saw potential in the young creature. For, if a Pearlcatcher chews on raw meat to suck off blood, is she still a Pearlcatcher? Is her mother still a Tundra, or some other beast? But Rache welcomed her. After all, she would not be the only dragon with unnatural appetites that The Vengeful had housed. Rache put her in charge of the slaves, for she suspected that they were planning something. She needed to quell any rebellion that might be brewing among them. If a few hatchlings went missing, well... They were just slaves, after all. |

Personality
Brilliant beauty... Zulekha is cunning like her mother, but doesn't take pleasure in betrayal. She doesn't care about the emotional needs of other dragons, and she has never tried to act normal around others. Used to being in charge of her nestmates, she took to controlling the slaves well, even as a youngster. Because of her lack of emotion usually, if she is paying special and sweet attention to you, it would be wise to leave her company as fast as possible. |
