Yaretzi sat under the midnight sky next to Theron.

"You know I must I am need to see the world through my own eyes and the world tour is a dream come true I can see other clans in different parts of our world and maybe meet a deity."
"I don't want to loose you." Theron said.
Yaretzi smiled at him and wrapped her tails into his. "I won't be gone forever just long enough for you miss me a little while."
"A little awaile is long enough for me."
Yaretzi laughed. "I want to learn from the world and meet dragons. Most of all I want to go the observatory. Yes I can teach all of our hatchling about the world their mother explored."
"Do you really want to do this?"
"Yes."
"I want to follow your dreams and I will be going off to train in another lair." Theron smiled at her.
Yaretzi looked up at a star, "Just like the night we first met under a midnight sky."
"Yes it almost like the same night all over again."
Theron head snapped towards her" I have an idea!"
"What?"
"We both are going to different clans so when we get back we can share our experiences with each other."
"I cannot wait."
"You know I don't think your name suits you."
"Why 'you will be loved ' doesn't?"
"No because you are loved."
They gazed up to the stars for their last time for awhile


Clan Improbable (seige)

To my offspring,

I’m sure by the time you are reading this that you are heartily sick of the stories of my travels. But, you will have offspring, and they will have offspring, etc., that might be interested.

My first stop was Clan Improbable, because I heard through the usual gossipy channels that their founders had actually gone to the Stormcatcher and returned. I was quite amazed that the story was true. According to jewel and Sterling, the Stormcatcher let them return for their courage to journey to Him in search of answers. So meeting a Deity is possible and one day I shall.

The clan was most generous and treats every visitor as if they were the Stormcatcher in disguise. They gave me freely of food and shelter, and even a satchel and parchment to keep this diary for the future. They only guarded closely their technology and engineering secrets.

I’ve had wonderful talks with dragons of all breed, vocations, and flights. I don’t know where I go next, but more knowledge awaits.

Clan Paladin (Saraceaser)

Yaretzi looked around the tall, shining columns in amazement as she walked through the Mirrorlight Promenade. After having stayed a while in the Shifting Expanse, she decided to head to someplace a little less stormy, and found herself in the Flight of the sun. After having visited the Beacon - which was much bigger than in the books she read - she found herself wandering the ruins in the warm sunlight, and she was more than a little awed.

Which was how she found herself accidentally bumping into another Dragon.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry!" She quickly apologized, a bit flustered. The Coatl in question blinked, her surprised look morphing into something more pleasant.

"It's alright, it happens," she placated, waving off the apologies. She tilted her head at the still slightly embarrassed Imperial. "Are you new here? Seeing as you were spacing out a bit," she asked pleasantly.

"Oh, yes, I just recently arrived; I'm on a journey, you seem to travel to different Flights and have new experiences," she explained, calming down a bit. The Coatl perked up a bit at that.

"Oh, then do you have a place to stay? You're more than welcome to stay with my Clan; we always offer room to travelers, if you'd like," she offered with a smile. Yaretzi nodded, happy that the Coatl didn't seem to take offense when she bumped into her earlier. As they talked, they walked along while the Coatl led the way to the Clan.

"My name's Valenie, one of the Clan's resident Counselors and Protector of Matrimony," she said with a bit of pride at her titles. The Imperial smiled, warmly amused at this.

"I'm Yaretzi, and though I don't have such a fancy title as you, I know a few things about matrimony and relationships," she said with a smile, which Valenie mirrored back. They talked pleasantly the rest of the way to the Clan's Lair in the Mirrorlight Promenade, and as they approached the castle complex Yaretzi took a moment to look at it in awe.

"You can stay as long as you like, and... you say you always wanted to learn how to do yoga? It's very calming, and I'd be more than happy to help you," Valenie offered, and how could Yaretzi refuse such a wonderful offer?

Not too many exciting things happened during her stay with Clan Paladin, and it wasn't how she thought bumping into someone would turn out, but it was a nice and relaxing experience nonetheless.

A group of wind travellers(Eliriel)

During her journey across the Windswept Plateau Yaretzi encountered a group of dragons living in the zephyr steppes. Though the group was rather unconventional, the members were lively and amicable. They welcomed her with an evening party, and practically clambered over one another to get to know her better. A large portion of Yaretzi’s time with them was split between helping the group hunt for food- they were swiftly growing in numbers and were constantly in need of replenishing supplies- and spending time with Faustus and Ivory. Surprisingly, in the space of only three days, a strong friendship blossomed between the three. The imperial found herself offering advice to the anxious soon-to-be-parents, soothing their worries, and keeping them optimistic. She even shared her own experience as a mother, fondly reminiscing about her mate and the children they had.

There was one particular event during her stay that she would treasure for many years to come. It occurred when she was visiting Faustus and Ivory, eager to see their recently hatched children and congratulate them.

“Yadira. It means a beloved friend,” Ivory had piped up when the topic of the conversation drifted to names.

“That sounds beautiful,” The coral shaded imperial nodded.

Ivory and Faustus shared a look, the latter clearing his throat before continuing where his mate had left off.

“the name was chosen with you in mind,” Faustus sheepishly ducked his head, eyes glued to the three hatchlings nestled against Ivory’s side. “Your words meant a lot to us and if it weren’t for you we’d still be nervous about this whole parenting thing. We didn’t know what we were doing and- well- you’re advice has helped prepare us.” He hunched his shoulders, timidness finally stealing his voice.

“ We know you’ll be leaving soon. so we wanted to name one our children in memory of the kindness you have shown us,” Ivory’s soft explained, smiling reassuringly at Faust’ before looking back at Yaretzi. “And you have become a very good friend of ours. So Yadira seemed fitting. Would it be alright?”

Yaretzi blinked, momentarily stunned, before a bright smile crossed her face. “Of course, thank you, I’d be honoured.”
