Mardi

Mardi had a hard upbringing, if it can really be called that. He grew up not knowing his parents, surviving alone in the alleys of one of Sornieth's sketchier villiages. He made a living picking pockets, but in a town of lowlifes that's easier said than done. He began to use the environment around him to assist his activities, building contraptions to act as distractions as he stole what he could, and after a while began creating more complex machines.

Despite his environment growing up Mardi is an upbeat and generally carefree dragon, and is surprisingly generous for a former thief.



Along with his assistant, Cypher, Mardi has created two robotic dragons as a means of giving back to the clan. They are surprisingly intelligent, and programmed to perform shows with the circus in addition to their usual manual work. Because of this a sort of unwitting rivalship has grown between him and new arrival Marionne. She believes that her puppets are completely superior to Mardi's robots and machines, and takes every chance she can to prove it to him. It seems to bring her joy when she's trying to put him down, and her efforts have been increasingly bold.

Configuration seems to prefer performing to working. In particular he enjoys watching after younger dragonets while their parents enjoy more mature or scary performances. He does simple tricks and stunts to make them smile, dazzling them with his bright colors.


Datamine

Datamine prefers manual labor to performances, but younger patrons still seem to like it when he does the occasional act with his counterpart. He is not as colorful as Configuration, but you do not need to be to execute tasks. He does whatever is asked of him, from moving supplies to delivering messages within the clan.

Since an incident between the twin robots and Woodwork, Marionne's prized puppet, both have been acting strangely. Datamine especially seems listless and constantly loses track of what he's doing, which in turn worries and distracts his counterpart. This has been extremely troubling for their creators, but even with a multitude of full system diagnostics and virus checks they've been unable to locate the source of the problem.
