Kawthar
Patriarch | Gardener | Hatchling Caretaker
Kawthar grew up as somewhat of a hermit, having hatched an orphan in the shadow of the oak that was to become his home. He tended the grounds surrounding it, cultivating a myriad of useful herbs and spices, experimenting to discover which worked best to heal which ailments. He rarely journeyed far from his home other than to gather necessary supplies, content to remain in safety rather than attempt to travel to other lands.

Dragons came and went through his little home, some staying a few days and some a few months, though none settled there permanently until Aedre. He found her collapsed at the border of his garden one evening; bloody, bruised, and barely breathing. Carefully he brought her inside and nursed her back to health over the course of a year, during that time teaching her how to communicate through writing and signing. The two found friendship and eventually love, becoming absolutely inseparable.

Kawthar is a caring patriarch, taking care of much of the minutiae that comes with running a makeshift clan. He is a loving mate to Aedre, always happy to help with whatever she needs. A welcoming soul, he helps newcomers settle into the clan, settles disputes that may arise, and adores assisting in the care of hatchlings.
