Matriarch | Gardener | Groundskeeper
Aedre spent much of her first year of life fending for herself in the Viridian Labyrinth. She quickly became a fierce and ruthless warrior out of necessity, destroying countless monstrosities in her struggle to survive.

However, one battle stole her voice and nearly stole her life. Slashed nearly too deeply across her throat by a feral Greenwing Razorclaw and searching desperately for sanctuary, she happened upon an enclosed garden nestled beneath a towering oak tree, collapsing the moment she crossed the bordering fence. Kawthar returned from a day of gathering plants in the far reaches of the Viridian Labyrinth to find her form curled up at the border of his personal garden.

Wanting to at least try to save the battered Guardian and blessed with a skill for healing, he carried her inside and nursed her back to health over the course of a year. By chance, Aedre had finally found her Charge in Kawthar. She had difficulty explaining her meandering life story to him at first due to her lack of a voice, but the two built up a pleasant level of companionship as he taught her to write and sign, and eventually that friendship developed into an enduring love. Wishing to find a way to be useful, but too terrified to take up being a warrior again, Aedre learned to garden and brew healing salves from Kawthar and later passed the knowledge on to any who wished to learn.

A kind soul, Aedre allows any and all dragons to find their home in the set of clearings surrounding the central oak tree where she and Kawthar live together. No dragon will be turned away and she is happy to assist in caring for any hatchlings that come to live in their little clan.
