Biography
Carya ...................................................... |
Carya is a nature spirit born within a grove close to the heart of the Gladekeeper's territory. The grove was hidden and home to many dryads and fae, Carya's own form also appearing as a dryad. However, a sickness of the shade began to spread through the grove. The other residents were bound to the territory, unable to leave, but Carya was not, and they urged her to escape while she could. Accepting the decision she would have to make, Carya prepared to leave. The fae informed her that once she left, her powers would grow weak until she found a new place to lay roots. As a nature spirit, nature flourished in her presence, but without a home the effect was lessened. Carya would also have to take the form of a dragon if she wished to fit in, and once she left, she would not be able to change back. As she traveled from the grove, she took the form of a ridgeback. She traveled through the GladeKeeper's territory effortlessly, something in her naturally knowing where to go. However, once she reached the scarred wastelands, she became at a loss, traveling aimlessly. Fortunately, she came across a merchant caravan who didn't mind her tagging along. |
