Yaena unintentionally founded Beam Glade Clan in her youth, after having found herself dreaming repeatedly of a certain glade between two large watchtower ruins. She found the glades in a state of disrepair and decay, and set to making them as equally beautiful as her dreams had been.

Bit by bit, month by month, strange dragons who had no homes of their own began trickling in. Some had been searching for a place to stay and call home, some only intended to rest for a night or two before moving on. Yaena welcomed them all, and soon found herself taking on the role of advisor and guardian of many lost dragons.

Eventually a good number of dragons had permanently settled into the ruined watchtowers, or sparse foliage nearby, and a clan had been born. Yaena took the lead in organising the structure of the clan, allowing for various dragons to argue their case to take on certain posts and roles. After decades of unofficially leading the mismatched clan, Yaena decided not to pursue a leadership role. However, she remains a core of the Beam Glades Clan, always willing and eager to hear about her clan’s thoughts and problems, and give advice where she can.

Yaena has not received significant prophetic dreams or visions in many years, but rather dreams of the mundane features of a clan’s life. Where they may find food, interesting treasures hidden among the ruins, and sometimes of how the dragons that left their clans are doing.
