.. Her clanmates tell Mei they found her egg in a patch of the most beautiful
wildflowers they'd ever seen. Even as a child, her gift was apparent. Flora bloomed
beneath her feet at each step she took, and fauna followed in her path. Mei is still
filled with childlike wonder; she is fascinated by the earth and the plants, how
everything lives in balance.

Mei often travels around, spreading happiness around Sornieth with her powers. She was often seen giving flowers to passerby or carrying a small bag of gifts to hand out to hatchlings. Her kindness attracted attention from all crowds. But of course, not all of that attention was good.

Mei's mother is a powerful yet cruel being. And since she attracted lots of attention with her kindness, she quickly attracted the attention of her mother's enemies. The skydancer was forced to constantly evade kidnapping and assassination attempts for months. But alas, she was finally cornered and defeated while defending a young tundra. Her mother managed to preserve her soul within the void, but her physical body was lost.

To this day, Mei sits waiting in a cold, dark prison. The world around her is vivid and bright, but she knows it is all a dream. She grows nervous, knowing that the beast is getting closer.
