Lior is in love with his familiar and charge, a maned cerdae
named Alder. He protects and defends the Grove in honor of this love, becoming the guardian of the clan.

one day, an old curse on Lior revives and rears its head like a dormant virus. Lior's rocky bouldered skin overtakes his body entirely, the pressure creating lava inside of him that cracks and hardens to create his blackened form. disaster befalls him, nearly causing a forest fire in his beloved grove. Alder can no longer touch or be near him, and the guardian falls into a deep state of distress.
unfortunately, he must leave his beloved companion and home and only return once the curse has been broken. breaking the curse has become his new charge... all too soon after finally finding his precious Alder. he'll do anything to come back to him.
the Viridian Knights Petra and Amaya join his entourage and set off to fulfill this quest by his side.
3/25/24 - lior travels to the southern icefields to moderate and contain his heat while searching for the cure. sinoe, aramynta and the taurs help break the curse, freeing him (he's finally gened yay!)... he gets a beard trim! cause why not. he's ready to return to alder once loose ends are tied up.
unfortunately, he must leave his beloved companion and home and only return once the curse has been broken. breaking the curse has become his new charge... all too soon after finally finding his precious Alder. he'll do anything to come back to him.
