Abandoned before she'd even hatched, Nightsyrup has kept loneliness and hardship as friends from the start.

Other acquaintances she encountered growing up include hunger, fear, pain and sadness. These, she could not bring herself to make friends with, no matter how doggedly they followed her around.

As a young adult, Nightsyrup made some new friends, hatred, bitterness and resentment. These, she took to. These, she cloaked herself in, they shielded her from the rest of the world and kept her alive when nothing else could.

Now, she is the queen of bitterness, hatred and resentment. She holds them close and uses them to achieve the thing she desires most: revenge.
