I know you are a tactician, but have you ever considered using gunboat diplomacy for a change?
"No." He replied shortly, staring intensely at you for a moment before reverting his gaze over the lair common area. "Both Taetalion and I have no desire to have our clan known for causing wars and/or taking over territory that isn't ours. We are quite self sufficient, which gives us no reason to threaten other clans. This world has been plagued by war since her birth, and continue to do so; we needn't add to it... Therefore, war is inevitable. Our clan has few, if any, clans that we are directly allied to, and thus are not expecting to be called to assist in a war in the near future. If threats are made against us, however, we have more than enough fire power to defend ourselves, but that shall not be made specifically public until a fight begins, when, in which, our enemy will see for themselves the mistake they made in attacking our clan." A brief smile curved onto his face, watching the peacefulness of the lair before it disappeared as quickly as it came. "We will not go out searching for a reason to cause harm, but we also will not stand for being threatened."
