Personality
Casper is the personification of opaque despite himself actually being translucent. He's considered by many to be confusing, quick-talking and oddly charismatic. He's friendly to a fault but no one truly knows what his goals are, besides himself of course. He just never seems to take anything seriously in his life after death. One dragon said it felt like Casper has an all knowing and sly smile, followed with his irritating tendency to only half fulfill promises.

He is willing to lie, cheat and steal for his own amusement but is more than willing to do so for others if it suits his fancy. He likes to befriend outsiders and bothers them the most with his antics. If he is friends with you there is a sneaking feeling that there is alternative motives behind it, because he rarely befriends someone just for the sake of it. Life (and death) is like one big con to him.

His closest friend is an alien named Jacinta. It's probably the only friendship that Casper actually values, rather than being another sucker to swindle. He scours the land searching for parts for her ship and he's the sole dragon that knows of her origin. The truth is, he watched her ship make impact with Sorienth. He wants leave this planet with her, completely ready to ditch everything he has ever known to spend his infinity with her in the cosmos. 		monument_light.png

History
Casper died some years ago with more enemies than friends. His bones were resting less than peacefully six feet under in some unmarked grave that hadn't been visited in ages. He was never loved in life, and there was only the empty nothing to greet him in death. All in all, he must have been a particularly unremarkable dragon for not even a single flower had ever been left at the unassuming grave.
The thing about dragon bones, though, is they are an extremely powerful ingredient for some elusive potions, but if not handled correctly can have some serious consequences.
That takes us to Xenia. She’s what people would call a witch and an inexperienced one at that. While she was turning over rocks to find some things for her own little brew, she came across Casper’s grave. There wasn't a moment of hesitation as she pilfered the unmarked grave to use for her amateur spells and brews. Her mind screamed at her that this was a jackpot and she got to work immediately.
To say she is inexperienced is an understatement. She has no steady hand or precise measurements when it comes to making quality brews. She hardly followed the instructions to a T and was overly confident with her own abilities. That is to say when she put the draconic remains in, it didn’t dissolve in the boiling brew, but quivered and quaked and somehow, maybe a bit miraculously, broke into a fine mist. What was left was a cackling voice and the deep feeling that she had messed up.
Casper has been in good spirits since. He doesn't hide the fact that he is no more than an apparition but those that ask questions can never get a straight answer. It makes him a very alluring dragon to the eyes of the Light Flight, who badger him for answers. Maybe he just doesn't know the answers himself.


Trivia
  • He feels more alive as a ghost than he did as a dragon.
  • He likes to haunt the dragons he thinks takes things too seriously
  • He's capable of becoming invisible at will, manipulate things telepathically, and possessing others. He only really does the first two.
  • He makes up stories as to how he died whenever those who know ask. Each one is wildly different and inaccurate. The truth is, he doesn't remember.
