Biography
Uraredli was a wandering glassblower before he met Myrtle. He sold his goods for a modest price though he could have charged far more for their quality, and turned down a few commissions from local barons and princes. Sure, he'd turned down his chances at riches and fame, but he was never fond of luxurious goods, and hated the idea of becoming famous (who would want to spend their lives being recognised and watched everywhere they went?). As long as he made enough to comfortably support himself working a craft he loved, he was happy.
He came upon the Eagnai while the Library was still in its earliest stages of restoration. They welcomed him kindly and let him set up shop with them for a while, where he learned about their goal. When he saw the design of the old library and the huge stained glass windows in the shrines, he was hooked. He wanted to stay and lend his talents to a project bigger than himself. Over the course of construction, he found himself taken by Myrtle's warmth and endless curiosity. They bonded over their shared sense of humour and love for the arts, growing closer and closer until they realised they'd fallen in love. After months of doting courtship, they declared themselves mates (to the surprise of absolutely no one).
Today, Uraredli is still a glassblower, selling his art for the library. His relationship with Myrtle is still strong as ever, with the addition of their two beloved children Harper and Nereid. He's improved at his craft thanks to the library being a knowledge and communication hub, he's gotten to watch his children grow up into fine young dragons with thriving careers, and he's had the joy of watching his mate realise her dream. There have been ups and downs, but he really couldn't ask for a better life.
