The Runesmith
An austere figure and dedicated blacksmith, Weland was one of the first to join the clan and is one of its most active members. He and Sidhara became fast friends, then mates. When Celarion arrived as an orphaned hatchling, he was quick to take her in. Despite his steely demeanour, he cares deeply for the younger clan members and is often sought after for advice.
Weland works with Feanor to apply rune-magic to his forge. By carving runes into metal as he works it, he is able to imbue magical properties without sacrificing flexibility or strength. His proudest achievement is his own set of swords, Pras and Creva, the Blades that Never Dull. It sounds simple, an enchantment that sounds simple but was incredibly difficult to make permanent.
Contrary to popular belief, Weland's clothes are not black from stealing the souls of unruly hatchlings. They're just ashy from the forge.
