There are many things in life that are beautiful, and there are many dragons who spend their life searching for that beauty, searching for it without any thought for the consequences. Some were even obsessed with beauty, dedicating their whole life to finding it. And that is exactly why Inari was such a popular dragon wherever she went, finding both friends and followers along the way.
Not only is she absolutely stunning, with her shimmering scales and graceful and hypnotizing movements, but Inari is also a very pleasant companion to have around, as she is naturally regal and polite, and could be even mistaken for a Queen. She uses these qualities as a singer, quite often being invited to lavish parties all around Sornieth. She also works as a music teacher, teaching young dragonets all around the continent about the wonders that music can bring them, making her name a popular one in the more music-oriented clans.

One one of these journeys, when Inari was attending a ball outside her clan, she met a beautiful dragoness named Hineana, and was immediately charmed by her. Inari was often wooed by dragons of different origins, and yet she never felt this spark in her chest until she met this particular dragon. Hineana was unrivaled in her intelligence, that Inari felt from their first meeting. She always valued this quality, and decided to meet the mirror again. And then again. And many, many times after that, until the two finally married, each finding solace in each other's company. They adopted an abandoned imperial, Hura, who only completed there household. At that time, Inari felt like the happiest dragoness to ever exist. And yet, that didn't last as long as she thought it would.

Hineana was always very passionate about her work, and she would often be so dedicated to it, that she would forget everything and everyone around her. And that was exactly what happened. She would spend less and less time at home, sometimes coming home only by the morning to get breakfast and disappear again. And while Inari understood that Hineana loved her work, and even said that to her wife herself, it still pained her that she could not spend so much time with her beloved as she wanted to. Tensions rose, accusations were thrown, arguments started. And after a while, after they fought till they could not anymore, the two stopped talking at all. And that made it even worse, for they couldn't come to a peaceful agreement. The only option was divorce, and with heavy hearts, divorce they did.

This shattered something in Inari that she didn't know she had. No longer was she like a butterfly, always fluttering around energetically and without a negative thought. And while she didn't completely fall into despair, she wasn't the same anymore. Her songs have gotten sadder, some kind of pain seeping into them, no longer sounding as optimistically happy as before. They weren't bad, no, they just felt...changed. As if the singer had experienced something truly beautiful, and then lost it.

Instead of conversing with her many fans, Inari now prefers to stay by
herself, enjoying the quite peace and thinking about what she could have done to prevent the break up. Part of her resents her past wife, and part of her hates herself. But there is a part of her, that keeps her from losing her mind in her worries. The part that loves her daughter, which inherited only the best of the two ex-mates. She wants to see her, and yet she's afraid that Hura will resent her, and blame her for the breakup. She's undecided on what to do, broken apart by her regrets and past choices. And so, she begins to travel, prompted by two dragons named Ebru and Mason, hoping to set her mind at ease and finally understand not only why the world was so cruel to her, but her own feelings, too.
