The Gatekeeper

"The lady gave me a charge, a job. Beg if 'ou want, I take my job 'ere seriously."

Whether you've come here in chains or of your own free will, you're met with the stare of a grisly Guardian who clearly thinks of you as less than a maggot between his toes. He is heavy, whether with burden or might, that is unclear. He is the gatekeeper that guards the sanctum of Gardenia's Pinnacle, but the stories whispered by visiting merchants and elites pale in comparison to his visage. His metallic scales are weathered with white and he holds his body low as his tattered garb barely lets his eyes peek through. You're tempted to ask him questions, but something in the back of your head clearly says that is not a good idea. He's granted you passage to move through, you might as well take him up on it while you have yet to test his patience.



>> Lacnoir is rather large for his species, towering over most if not all who walk through the gates he has been charged to oversee. While his temper is short, he is outwardly calm, appearing like a thunderstorm ready to burst and shake the ground. No one in the clan questions Gardenia's decision to grant this shamed Gaurdian with a new charge, he clearly does a good job and is devout... no one knows his background but Gardenia, either.
