Cinnabar

Cinnabar is a bit vain and prefers some of the finer things dragon-kind can obtain. She is the Sea Cave lair's self-proclaimed beauty queen, wrapping herself in gold to match the gold gems studding her gleaming red body.

Sheriam is generally amused by her antics and tends to allow her to indulge when she sees something she's decided she must have. She is also a thorn in Rahab's side, either insecure or jealous of the Guardian's dark, simply gened beauty.

"Why are you doing this to me!?" Cinnabar wailed at her matriarch.

Sheriam turned back to look at her red and gold charge, something of the Guardian she had been once glittered in her eye. She was no longer as large, but she could still be just as intimidating. "Do you not wear body paint bought with hard to earn gems? Or silks purchased while they were at the height of fashion? A golden choker? Should you not begin to earn some of these things instead of lying around the lair every day, preening like a bird of paradise? Fighting experience will do you good. Others are already diving to the kelp beds to win food and trinkets.

"A few scars and a clawful of wisdom won't hurt you. I am sending you to start with your new mate, Ferrero and your daughter Myrrh. I do not want to hear another word."

Cinnabar lowered her feathered head as though she might weep, but mastered herself with a sigh. "Yes mistress."
