CLASS: DEPTH DEFENDER. RANK: 10. ORIGIN: FRIGID FLOES.
As a Depth Defender of the Crystal Springs, True utilizes the magical frost of her birthflight to keep a physical electric/ice shield running in a wide bowl under the main lair, warding against physical threaths of the abyss. The shield is not solid, it looks a lot like a very wide-masked fish net. Her mate, Selfless, also mantains a mixed-element shield; however, his cannot be seen.
True loves her husband a lot, but while he shows her affection, it is more in friendly gestures than in a romantic manner. It saddens her that he doesn't trust her enough to say what's bothering him, but at the same time she fears the day when he will speak up. Their marriage might not be the happiest, but it is not bad, and she does not ever want it to end. On the other hand, she wishes for him to be happy. She often considers asking him what's wrong, but in the end she always chickens out, talking instead about changes she made to her wards or about how the local maren called her a "glowfish" again.
True's best friend, Courageous, is the former Depth Defender of the Crystal Springs. She died when she attempted to make her shield run off wave-produced energy, learning the hard way that actual electricity acts in a vastly different way from electrically attuned magic. However, her death did not last long. The amount of power she generated with both magic and electricity at the moment of her death turned her prototype shield into a summoning circle, drawing forth something that had never before been seen by dragonkind. Previously trapped between dimensions, the summoned being thanked its accidental master by giving her life back. It tried its best, but had no idea how bodies work, so as a result Courageous is now a zombie. But a friendly one, so she and True still have their chats and occasionally do shield maintenance together. (flag by Osiem)
