This dragon is a breeding project gift from my wonderful ke'chara, Telurin to represent our co-written ot3, Rendilosa: Renawyn, Ehrendil, and Tulosa.

CW: Traumatic history and mental health issues

This old sea wolf is the eldest and more serious of his trio. A good deal of his past has been traumatic, but once he broke free of it, he set about helping others in need in a way that bypasses making them feel any burden of charity. Primarily, he does this by trading in favors - favors he often collects on by having one person help another (as opposed to mob-style favors) and all in a way that always appears to benefit his own interests.

He is also a highly trained former assassin who looks out for his own. Secretly the "mother hen" of any group. His love language is taking care of his people the way no one ever really took care of him until Renawyn and Ehrendil came into his life.

On his worst days he struggles with depression, badly fragmented memory issues, and abysmal self worth. In the years before his slow recovery this usually led to risky, self-harmful behaviors, and suicidal ideations.

Notes

*In their background, Tulosa and Ehrendil were unwilling members of a secret group called The Order of Mysteries and subjected to memory erasure and tampering. Tulosa knew they’d been erasing his memories, so when he and Ehrenil fell in love, something they had to keep secret, he insisted they practice what was called an echo phrase, each remembering their own half so that if they were to meet again, they’d know they’d meant so much more to each other - enough to practice a phrase to the point it could be cited and responded to almost by instinct.

“Neh tu karé, talond tu saril” has a loose translation of “Cut the rope, leave the anchor.”
Nautical in theme because Tulosa’s first taste of freedom was of sailing the sea before he was recaptured and met Ehrendil.
“En dal sylvas, belor dal sylvae” has a loose translation of “Leave your trees, find your forest.”
Out in the wilds among the trees is where Ehrendil has always felt free and where he would run if he ever got away for good. This phrase tells him both to do so, and to leave it for finding something bigger, but just as loved.

At this point in time they are free from The Order of Mysteries. (And in Tulosa's case actively working with allies to rescue others from their grasp during the long fight.)
