Due to an accident in the egg, Plasmid's body surges with electricity that shocks anyone that comes near. He can control it now as an adult, but the effort it takes to avoid accidental shocks to others makes him prefer solitude anyway. As a teen, an assassin disguised as a simple messenger visited his birthclan. Plasmid almost exposed him -- but the assassin cast a curse on him before he could do so. He can't appear to or touch anyone within his birthclan anymore. He is as a ghost to them, so he left. For years, he improved his mentor's medical equipment in the Tidelord's Sea. Hemostat, hoping desperately for a clue to his daughter's whereabouts, sent Plasmid to Dragonhome when a clue arrived in the mail. Although the clue turned out to be bogus, Plasmid found the old ore-loading station at the train tracks, and with it, train cars and minecarts from a bygone era. With his interest piqued, he knew he wouldn't be returning to Hemostat's side. |

Working on trains is pretty sick, yo. And he's made friends in Ruga and Saestis. Saestis, a well-traveled courier, brought back some spare parts, and Plasmid made yet another friend, a Scrapmetal Tracker capable of finding lost nuts and bolts under the tough Dragonhome soil.
